Davidson Black (1884-1934): the second chairman of the Department (1921-1934), Canadian anatomist and paleoanthropologist. His famous discovery was in 1926 when he named Sinanthropus Pekinensis, or "Peking Man", based on the fossil found in Zhoukoudian.
